Beaufort Dete
Beaufort D’ete (summer Beaufort) is an ages old traditional French cheese. Made specifically with milk from natural Alpine pastures of the Savoie region. Three valleys of Beaufortin, Tarentaise and Maurienne flow from east to west. Made with raw milk and then cooked, pressed and left to mature in cool damp caves for 4-9 months. The subtle paste has a flowery and herby aroma and it is said that tasters can feel the grass and flowers of the Alpine pastures when eating a piece of Beaufort.
The Crumbly Cheese bring you this summer Beaufort. A rich creamy well flavoured cheese with a scent of milk, butter and honey.
Unpasteurised, Cows Milk.
