Crumbly Lancashire

Crumbly Lancashire is the youngest of the three Lancashire cheeses, in both maturity and in creation. It is only matured for between 6-8 weeks and has only been on the scene for around 40-50 years. A good crumbly Lancashire should be just what it says, crumbly!  Developed to deliver a good, young, mild, milky fresh taste with a nice light tangy finish. Again this is a good culinary cheese, ideal with fruit cake, crumbled over a salad or just accompanied with a nice sharp apple.
