Hebden Hillside Honey

Hebden Hillside honey is produced from Bees Hives over looking Hebden Bridge,  situated on both North and south side of the Calder Valley

The Bees have foraged on a wide variety of flowers,  both native and non native found in gardens, pasture and moorland to produce this local Hebden Bridge Honey.  They have collected nectar from plants such as Bramble,  Rosebay Willow Herb, Himalayan Balsam, Common and Ling Heather

The Ling Heather nectar is what gives this particular Honey its fine bubbles.  Bees have to visit one million flowers to collect enough nectar to make half a pound of honey,  flying 45, 000 miles in the process.

The best way to say thanks to the Bees for all this effort is to serve this honey generously with toast, porridge or even Cheese
